Friday, November 11 - Firefighters Hall and Museum (664-22nd Avenue Northeast, 55418)

 

The Great Minnesota Accordion Pot Luck (Friday, 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.)

Please bring a dish to share that will not require use of the kitchen and an utensil to serve your dish with. There is no bar service at the Firefighters Hall and Museum but we are free to B.Y.O.B. for those over 21 years of age. Plates, cups, glasses, napkins and utensils provided. Plug-ins for crockpots available. PARTY!

 

Open Stage (Friday, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.)

This applause is for YOU! Here is your chance to play the music you really like. Time limit is dependant on how many people want to share the hour, sign up will start at 9:00 a.m.

 

Accordion Jam (10:00 p.m.)

Anything goes, lead or follow open to all instruments, not just accordions

Saturday, November 12 - *Elsie's Restaurant (729 Marshall Street Northeast, 55413)

 

Squeez-in Accordion Orchestra (Saturday, 10:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m.)

This 'pick-up' accordion group is open to everyone, bring a music stand. The group learns the music together on Saturday morning at Elsie's, do the best you can...this is about fun and getting everyone together! Download music here.

 

Workshop #1 (1:15-2:00 p.m.)

Hank Thunander - Share the wisdom and talent of Minnesota's favorite and most loved polka master.

 

Workshop #2 (2:15 - 3:00 p.m.)

Chris Gorton & Randy McPeck - Learn the 'ins and outs' of Roland's versitile V-Accordion with National Champion Chris.

 

Lifetime Achievement Award (6:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m.)

Somewhere during this hour of "meet and greet" Mark Stillman will receive an award for his contribution to the accordion community. Come shake hands, talk, and listen to his great music!

 

Bowling for Free-Reeds (11:00 p.m. or earlier)

That's right, all accordionists and friends are welcome to join in for a few lanes of bowling fun, no experience neccessary. Let's do it!!
