Norwegian composer and accordionist
Frode Haltli came up through folk forms, but crossed into jazz
and contemporary classical music. His music is reticently beautiful,
with lyrical folk-ballads often spliced with improv or minimalist
interludes. Wonderful! |

an audience is permitted to listen while the ensemble practices.
This particular ensemble is comprised of former students of
Larry Malmberg. Their repertoire will include Danse des Buffoons
and Schubert's Unfinished Symphony. |
